WEEKLY ROUND-UP: MY WEEK IN INSTAGRAMS

It's Sunday again, and that means another week over. I've decided to start a new little theme of posts on Sunday's where I reflect on my week in pictures.

I'm absolutely addicted to Instagram, and I am not ashamed either. I mostly upload daily and love finding new inspiration via other people's feeds. Here are some of my favourite posts from this week from my Instagram (@evieroselane_), minus the hashtags.
1. At the start of this week, I rediscovered my old hair curling wand and I decided to have a bit of an experiment with it. The curler is a Tony & Guy thick barrelled wand (unfortunately I don't know the exact measurement, sorry!). I created this look by curling sections of my hair, then fixing them in place using the Schwarzkopf got2b '2 sexy' big volume hairspray (this hairspray smells delicious, comes in a pretty pink can, and holds my hair in place so so well - I definitely recommend!). Once I curled and sprayed my hair, I just ran through it with a soft bristled brush in order to create a soft waved look. If you have one, a tangle teezer will also work wonderfully. I usually just straighten my hair, but I loved having a style of something different that was pretty yet not too out there.
2. On Thursday 9th, it was my 19th birthday. I had such a good day with lovely gifts and great company. I was given these beautiful flowers by my parents. I am flower OBSESSED and they are always a regular feature on my Instagram, especially pretty pink ones.
3. As it was my birthday and I was going out for lunch, I wanted to wear something different to my usual casual jeans and a top combo. I opted for this gorgeous striped midi dress from Topshop. This figure hugging dress is so comfortable and also very flattering with its high neckline and cutout detail along the sides of the waist. I paired this with my Michael Kors black handbag, and my white converse for a smart but casual look. You can shop the look here:
4. After having lunch with my girl friends, I went for cocktails with one of my best friends, Billy. I had a French Martini, an Elderflower Collins, and a glass of Pimms (above). All are definitely recommended, and are possibly even the best cocktails I've ever had - so yummy!
5. I picked up a gorgeous statement earring piece from the Accessorise 50% off sale this week. I adore this cuff, and for £3 I couldn't resist. I don't usually wear any earrings other than my studs, so I liked wearing this style for a special occasion. It added a bit of an edge to the accessory part of my outfit. I wore a plain crystal stud on my other ear to match this cuff so it tied in and didn't look too out of place.
6. Lastly, on Friday, I went to see Ed Sheeran at Wembley Stadium in London. I booked these tickets absolutely ages ago, before Christmas, so I have been waiting a while for this. It was such a good way to celebrate the end of my birthday week, and I absolutely loved every second. Seeing Ed Sheeran perform has been on my imaginary bucket list for ages, and it can now be ticked off (woo!). Ed is such a talented person and if any of you get the opportunity to see him, then do grab it with both hands (or invite me instead). As a special guest, Elton John joined Ed on stage which was MAD. I'm so glad I went, and would definitely say it was the best concert that I have attended.

So that has been the highlights of my week in Instagrams. If you would like to see more posts like this do let me know, as they could become a regular feature. If you would like to follow my Instagram so that you can see the rest of my posts and have regular updates from me, my username is @evieroselane_.
