OOTN: Catfish and the Bottlemen Gig ♥

This weekend, I attended one of my favourite band's gigs. I went to see indie rock band, Catfish and the Bottlemen, with my best friend and two of her uni friends in Birmingham. The gig itself was incredible. However, I thought I'd share with you what I wore on that evening, in order to offer you with some inspo and ideas.

I wore a gorgeous black handmade bralet that I purchased on an app called 'depop'. 'Depop' allows you to purchase fashion products from other individuals - some may be secondhand, brand new, or in this case, handmade. I partnered this bralet with a very pretty lace kimono from Urban Outfitters, and a pair of black skinny Topshop joni jeans. When at concerts you will find that it can get incredibly hot, particularly if you're standing in the middle of a mosh pit like we were. It's important not to overlayer with clothing that will feel unbearable in the heat, and to wear fairly loose clothing instead so that you're able to move about freely. Comfortable shoes are always a good idea, I would avoid heels as you are more likely to hurt yourself, and by the end of the night, your feet will not be very happy.

In terms of make up, I went for a classic winged eyeliner look, paired with a bold red lip. The lipstick I used was called 'Russian Red' by Mac. It's part of their matte lipstick collection. I adore how pigmented and long lasting the matte Mac lipsticks can be. If you're looking out for a good red shade, then I would definitely recommend 'Russian Red'...
