Product Review: MAC 'Soar' Lip Liner ♥

Today is another product review kind of day, and today I shall be writing my thoughts and opinions about this MAC beauty. By having a look at my past product reviews, you may notice that I have been particularly influenced by some make up looks from the likes of Kylie Jenner. Kylie's plump and perfectly pouted lips are said to be achieved using lip liner - it is rumoured that Kylie actually uses this exact lip liner. I don't think I could pull off the look of big lips as well as Kylie does, however, I definitely feel that lip liners are incredibly important and can add so much definition and shape.

This Mac liner is in the shade 'Soar'. It is a gorgeous pinky-mauve colour and creamy in texture. It is absolutely stunning when paired with nude/pink toned lipsticks. Personally, I love pairing it with lipsticks such as MAC 'Honeylove', MAC 'Velvet Teddy', or LOLA 'Antique Beige' - all of which are gorgeous nudes with peach/pink undertones. Using this liner will really define your lips, it is perfect for highlighting your natural shape or for even over-drawing your lips. The liner itself can be paired with lipsticks, although it doesn't have to be. It can look equally as stunning when simply used by itself (as seen below). I find that the colour of this lip liner will really brighten your face and prevent you from looking washed out. It gives a very sophisticated, grown up, classy look on the lips. In terms of how well it lasts throughout the day, its staying power is very good and the colour will last well. This stunning MAC lip liner costs £12.50, which is quite expensive but it's MAC so that has to be expected as it is more of a luxury brand. If you would like to find a cheaper drugstore alternative, I have heard that the Rimmel 1000 Kisses lip liner in shade 'Spice' is a good dupe for this product.
