SUMMER BALL MAKE UP PRODUCT LIST.

Some people have been asking me about what make up products I used for this look that I created for my University Summer Ball, so I thought I would just put together a product list for anyone who was interested in purchasing some new products. If you have any questions, then of course don't hesitate to comment on this post below. I was also thinking about uploading a make up tutorial of this look to my YouTube channel soon, so do let me know if you'd be interested in seeing that?

FLORAL FRILLS & SUMMER SILK.

It is summer aka that wonderful time of year for BBQs, garden parties, etc. I actually wore this pretty floral wrap silk Misguided playsuit to my Summer Ball event at University a couple of weeks ago and I absolutely adore it, so I thought I'd do a proper OOTD post for it on my blog (ta-dah!).

This playsuit is perfect for the summer and can be worn to suit any smart/casual dress theme. It is a super girly piece and has a boho chic vibe to it that I love. I am a huge fan of its wrap over neckline, long flared sleeves, frilled shorts, and elasticated waist. I feel this piece is very flattering on the figure as it pulls you in at the waist, yet is still floaty, free, and comfortable.

In terms of what I paired the playsuit with, here I have partnered it with a glamorous oversized white clutch and my current high heel favourites from Public Desire. Lace up heels are so on trend at the moment and Public Desire offer a great collection for good prices so be sure to just their range out! Outfit links can, as always, be found below.

MAC 'RUBY WOO'.

It feels like I haven't posted in ages, I have been a busy bee in the last month with exams so apologies for my lack of interaction. I have now finished my first year of University, which is so strange because it feels like I only just moved in. Anyway, today I thought I would just upload a little product review of (surprise surprise) another MAC lip product. I adore MAC lipsticks and the one I would like to tell you more about today is the popular retro matte 'Ruby Woo' red lipstick.

I don't often wear red lipsticks normally, but if I am going out in the evening I always like to have a decent one in stock. 'Ruby Woo' is the perfect bright red to compliment and brighten up an outfit. It is a blue-toned red, not pink like most, and I feel that it compliments fair skin really well. This shade presents a very glamorous vibe - much like the lipstick style supported by vintage pin-up girls and actresses, such as the always classic, Marilyn Monroe.

Personally, I do not find the lipstick overly drying. I mean, it is a very matte lipstick so a bit of dryness should really be expected. Matte lipsticks are my absolute favourites at the moment by the way, they're so bold yet not glossy, which I love. This lipstick is also so long lasting - its lasting power is amazing, and it doesn't really feather/smudge, so feel free to eat/drink/kiss however much you like!

This lipstick retails at £15.50, yet it is a good investment and should last you ages. If you wish to check it out further, then do have a click on the link I have left for you below.
