This post proves that some makeup does not need to break the bank to be important within a makeup bag. In this look, I use three Primark eyeliner pencils that in total cost me £3.50. I know, its crazy value!
I began this look by applying my base makeup as normal, including primer, foundation, concealer, contour, blusher, highlight, and brow gel.
To concentrate on the eyes, I grab my first kohl eyeliner pencil which is a light cream coloured tone named "Wide Awake". I apply this onto my lower lash line. By doing so, my eyes appear more open and awake. It compliments the whites of my eyes by making them appear whiter, and it also emphasises my eye shape.
Next, I apply a brown kohl eyeliner pencil underneath my lower lash line. This shade is called "Brown Wink". I proceed to smudge this out with my fingers to create a soft smoky eye look that will compliment my brown eyes and hair. I also apply the brown eyeliner pencil on my upper eyelids, and smudge this outwards for more drama and a soft wing look.
With my third eyeliner pencil, a water resistant black eyeliner from Primark's workout makeup range, I thinly apply a fine line to my upper eyelid on the lash line and wing this out slightly. This will softly emphasise the definition of my eyes and intensify my dark eyelashes.
I complete the eye makeup by sweeping a warm toned brown eyeshadow in the creases of my eyelids, and I apply lashings of black volumizing mascara to my eyelashes.
