High Shine Metallics SS15 ♥

High shine metallics and metal colours have recently been hitting up the SS15 catwalks. Metallics can come in many forms, from highly reflective to more subtle metal-like tones, yet all will add a touch of glamour and boldness to any outfit. I personally would suggest that this trend is more applicable to an evening look, however by all means don't be shy to wear it during the day if you're feeling brave enough. As seen in examples below, the likes of Markus Lupfer and Richard Nicoll have been using the trend of shimmer and shine as a dominant part of their SS15 collections.

This recent trend has also been a hit with celebrities. Dresses seen outshining the rest at the Golden Globes back in January this year have proved how glamorous the looks surrounding this trend can be.

For my own interpretation of this 2015 fashion fad, I am wearing a silver coloured Topshop cami that features a gorgeous wrap front. The fabric itself is light and comfortable on the skin making it great for a night out look. I have dressed the look down with a black pair of skinny jeans, yet I have added a touch of glam with a classy pair of black court heels. By adapting my make up to include a bold lip, I have added a pop of colour which will flatter and compliment the otherwise dark-toned outfit...
