Hyper Florals ♥

Another trend set to strive in SS15 is hyper florals. Although florals in spring is usually given some criticism - the Devil Wears Prada quote springs to mind. Well, this year is set to bring the spring florals back in and it intends to be just groundbreaking.

With bold, vibrant colours, and large patterns being encouraged, this trend has lit up recent catwalks. The likes of Stella McCartney, Kenzo, and Leonard have all featured bold florals on the SS15 catwalks this year.

After being inspired by these catwalk looks, I created my own OOTD or even OOTN look, based on the Hyper Florals trend. I purchased this gorgeous dress from River Island about a week ago for £38. It is a maxi dress, yet ties in at the waist, which means it is incredibly flattering and highlights how a waist can still be shown off well even in a floaty garment. Each side of the skirt section of the dress has a slit that goes up to about knee length. These slits show off the perfect amount of flesh and allows the dress to flow beautifully. The bright colours and bold pattern make the piece very fitting to the SS15 fashion trend and will bring a pop of colour to any wardrobe. I absolutely love this dress, and I hope you all do too... ♥
