Master the Monochrome ♥

As seen at various fashion shows across the globe, monochrome is yet again set to become a highly popular trend of SS15. The timeless combination of black and white masters the look of sophisticated fashion. This trend has been fully supported on the catwalks this year by designers such as Alexander Wang, Victoria Beckham, Carolina Herrera, Ralph Lauren, and many more.

I was deeply inspired by the mature simplicity of these looks, so much so that I have tried to create my own monochrome look using the inspo from these designers and influences from my own style. The clothes and accessories featured all come from affordable high street brands. I adore the boldness of the block black and white colours used in VB’s and Alexander Wang’s designs. In terms of monochrome, I personally prefer to go for the classic modernist approach using tailored lines to create a simple, stunning, sophisticated look.
